Cookie Policy
Last reviewed: 11 May 2026 · Effective: 11 May 2026
This policy explains what cookies and similar technologies nextwave.au uses, why we use them, and how you can control them.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. They are widely used to make websites work, remember your preferences, and provide information to site owners about how the site is used.
What we use
Essential cookies
These cookies are necessary for the website to function and cannot be disabled. They include:
- Session cookies — maintain your session as you navigate the site. Deleted when you close your browser
- Stripe cookies — set by Stripe when you initiate a payment, to secure the payment session and prevent fraud. Stripe's cookie policy applies to these
Analytics (no personal data)
We use Vercel Analytics to understand how visitors use our website. Vercel Analytics is designed to be privacy-first: it does not use cookies, does not track individuals across sessions, and does not collect personal identifiers. It measures aggregated page views, referrers, countries, and Core Web Vitals only.
Because Vercel Analytics does not use cookies and does not track individuals, no cookie consent is required for it under current Australian law.
What we do NOT use
- No advertising or retargeting cookies (Facebook Pixel, Google Ads, etc.)
- No cross-site tracking
- No third-party analytics that link cookies to personal identifiers
- No fingerprinting
Local storage
Our chatbot widget may store your name and email in browser localStorageto pre-fill the chat form on return visits. This data stays on your device and is not transmitted unless you initiate a chat. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's site data for nextwave.au.
How to control cookies
You can manage cookies through your browser settings. The following links explain how to do this in common browsers:
Blocking essential cookies may affect the checkout and chatbot functionality on this site. Blocking analytics has no effect on your experience.
Changes to this policy
If we add new technologies that use cookies or tracking, we will update this policy and, where required by law, seek your consent before activating them.
